Career Summary
I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, located in Kerala. My professional journey began in 2020 with Temenos India Pvt. Ltd, a Swiss banking software product-based multinational company, where I was fortunate to secure a position through campus placements. I initially relocated to Chennai for my role as a software developer. However, after a year, I had to return to my native place due to health issues, leading me to resign from my position.
During an 8-month health-related break, I took a proactive approach to focus on personal well-being through yoga and meditation. This period not only allowed me to regain my health but also reinforced my commitment to continuous learning and adaptability. I developed a strong desire to face new challenges and further my professional growth to ensure my complete recovery. As a result, I joined my current company, Vume Interactive Pvt. Ltd, an online iGaming startup, as a backend developer, which entailed relocating to Bengaluru.
In my current role, I have been tasked with developing and managing challenging assignments in a fast-paced startup environment, which has significantly enhanced my skills in decision-making and ownership. As a backend developer, I take on the role of the designated responsible individual for new features, overseeing the entire process from requirement analysis to deployment. This includes task creation, documentation, backend development, coordination with various teams, such as the UI, QA, and DevOps teams, and assisting the analytics team in reporting outcomes when necessary. Additionally, I provide essential backend support and conduct investigations and maintenance of existing features, addressing service requests from clients. Notably, the primary programming language used in this role is Clojure, a functional programming language that I learned from scratch upon joining Vume Interactive. This experience has greatly improved my learning ability and exposed me to a new programming paradigm.
